As described
I bought this months ago but didn’t have a chance to use it to due my move in date being delayed. My ps5 won’t connect to internet using this cable. First Ethernet cable I ever had issues with. Totally disappointed. Return window has passed and I’m stuck with a non functioning cable.
I am really surprised to see this as an Amazon choice option. Please recognize that this cord is Aluminum copper clad.. If you're going to bury it deep and never move it, then this might be a very reasonable purchase. I will say that the outer tubing is very tough and quite puncture resistant. But please understand that there's no padding or any type of insulation. It's the tubing surrounding the wires and the little plastic divider. nothing else. That structure seems like a pretty standard build but not with wire that breaks so easily. It breaks very easily. And it just so happens that the outer cover is as stiff as it can possibly be. So if you're trying to position or move it or adjust it, you're going to have to bend it and position it over and over as it springs back. That's not good when just a few bends Will cause this aluminum to break.. therefore I will say it is not easy to install. It has no flexibility. Functionality is good as long as it is installed and left. It looks fine, feels cheap. The plugs were terrible, but it looks like they may have adjusted the clip cover. That's all. You get what you pay for. I would say this cord simply sacrifices durability in terms of flexibility. I guess..
Cable is ok for what it costs. Like to tangle and knot up. Installed from house to workshop at freezing temps. Slow and easy is whats needed. Did install myself. Tangled mess.
Excellent cable with no perceived loss of signal or bandwidth/speed. Good construction with excellent crimping. As with all Cat 6, its not the most flexible, but that tells me its a good quality build and will last a long time. Its a cable!
